5. Custom Orders & Design Approvals

For custom cakes and bakery items (including special designs, messages, or themes):

Lead Time: Custom orders may require advance notice. The required lead time will be communicated at the time of ordering.
Design References: Any images or reference designs are treated as inspiration only. We do not guarantee an exact replica, especially of other brands’ or bakeries’ work.
Artistic Discretion: You acknowledge that our bakers and decorators may exercise artistic judgment to achieve a visually pleasing and structurally sound product.
Approval: Where previews or sketches are provided, final approval (written or electronic) is your responsibility. Once approved, changes may not be possible or may incur additional fees.

If you provide any logos, images, or text, you represent that you have the right to use that content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Pickup, Delivery & Risk of Loss

6.1 Pickup

If you choose pickup:

You are responsible for picking up your order at the time and location confirmed with us.
Once the order has been handed over to you or your representative, risk of loss and damage transfers to you.

6.2 Delivery (If Offered)

If we offer delivery:

Delivery areas, times, and fees will be specified during ordering.
We are not responsible for delays due to traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.
If no one is available to receive the order at the delivery time, we may:
- Leave the order in a safe place (if reasonable); and/or
- Attempt redelivery or require pickup, which may incur additional fees.

Once delivered to the address you provide, risk of loss and damage passes to you.

7. Storage, Handling & Consumption

Baked goods are perishable and may have a limited shelf life. You are responsible for:

Properly storing products according to the instructions provided (e.g., refrigeration where required);
Serving and consuming products within recommended timeframes;
Ensuring safe transportation after pickup or delivery.

We are not responsible for damage, spoilage, or quality issues that arise from improper storage, handling, or delays after pickup or delivery.

8. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

8.1 Customer Cancellations

Our ability to accept cancellations or changes depends on the nature and timing of the order:

Custom Orders: Because custom cakes and specialty items require significant preparation, ingredients, and labor, cancellations or major changes may not be possible after a certain time. Where possible, we will inform you of any applicable cancellation window and fees.
Standard Orders: For standard menu items, we may allow cancellations within a specified timeframe (for example, a certain number of hours before pickup/delivery), subject to our internal policy.

If you wish to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided below. We will inform you whether a cancellation or change is possible and if any charges apply.

8.2 Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any order if:

Products are unavailable or out of stock;

We suspect fraudulent or abusive activity;
